There's no need to have a religion to appreciate sun, there's God u can do it 🌿
as far as I know, the most powerful deity in Hinduism is Lord Surya who is a sun god. and worshipped as a creator god and the essence of life in the universe! likewise many cultures around the world worship the sun as an integral part of their religion! though I agree with @0xsona.lens that there is no need of religion for us to appreciate the sun!
i thought the old Maya civilization worshipped Sun God, correct me if im wrong
