Yea, I’d also add that even the right metrics become somewhat unreliable bc of bots, which is kinda unfortunate

Totally not a criticism of Lens, but I see a lot of people: 1) Looking at what I would consider less meaningful growth and considering it meaningful 2) Misattributing that growth to web3 If Lens was web2 but gated like it is now the creators here would -still- see higher engagement than they do on Twitter. Growth here (for users) is largely not a function of being web3, it’s mostly that it’s a -new- network with users who are starved for content. It’s mostly attributable to classic network adoption. There’s nothing wrong with that! But creators here today are mostly big fish in a small pond. Then add on the land grab/race to get followers by both humans and bots… I’m watching friends explode from 500 to 5000 followers but still with 0 collects on a 1 WMATIC piece. Meanwhile I know the connections made with collectors are in fact deeper than anywhere else.
