Perhaps, but I took it more as them seeing that the technology and ecosystem is still developing. From a logistics standpoint, trying to make minecraft work smoothly while transitioning could lose a huge fan/customer base. I think they are still planning to move into the blockchain world but they're waiting to see how things develop. Knowing the advantages of early adoption, I don't necessarily think they're making the right call, but I understand where they're coming from and don't necessarily think it's the absolute wrong call either.
