This is actually going to become super mainstream. To take it one step farther, imagine what happens when Instagram turns on the full marketplace (which Zuck has said is coming). Every business will become customers of content creators. Restaurants will pay people for the best photos of their food. Bands can pay their fans for the best photos. Imagine going to see your favorite band and then because they bought your photo(s) you essentially got paid to see them. The wealth is leaving the distribution middlemen (like Facebook) and instead being shared by the businesses and their customers.
