For the current generation? Have to say xbox. Gamepass is insanely good value. They're also buying alot of studios like Activision-Blizzard (world of warcraft, overwatch, call of duty, crash & spyro etc) and they release big budget and lower budget games from their own 1st party studios. So alot of variety for you too choose on gamepass from xboxs own studios. I don't currently own either an xbox or a PS, so none bias here. PS is good for high budget games with a heavy focus on storytelling and presentation (uncharted, God of war, last of us etc), so if that's your thing, you'll prefer a PS5. Basically xbox = variety & value PS = big budget games with great presentation.

PlayStation is the Gaming console by far. xBox was designed more as a “all in one” console that failed because gamers didn’t want all those features. That’s a lesson. Sometimes, being 100% concentrated in the problem you solve is better than adding more “features”.
