The current model is based on growth and eyeballs, so its a big numbers game. But thats going to change with platforms expected to show profit as the music stopped (no more free money) + AI making content creation so competitive. And so with bots and synthetic content you cannot build a biz model of bug numbers that dont translate to economic value, and that helps push business and creators to focus on more valuable / result oriented and measurable biz models. Enters 1000 true fans. Less focus on synthetic scale. More focus on creating real value to those that value it most and willing to pay for it.
