I haven't tried many others myself so I'm judging them mainly by the promo videos I've seen. This one was just really easy to get set up on: signed in with Twitter and started typing prompts. It took a few attempts to get something I thought was sonically interesting. I probably wouldn't release something like this as it is, but I could definitely imagine using Udio or a similar tool to generate textures that I might then pull into a project I'm working on. I don't think it's that different from loading up a preset on a synth, or sampling an existing recording. Of course, the ethics on training AI models on copyrighted material is a big topic, which really needs to be addressed.
