well... if people have their moral compass broken, crypto will too... it seems like a separate community, with its own principles, but it's just people.
A significant amount of people in crypto care more about farming and airdrops than actual. products and their utility. Those people ruin the experience for those who really believe in the cause. If you build a product and target those people then you will have very fragile community.
