Now you understand how "collect" works pre-Momoka. However, why doesn't it work in Momoka, what has been changed? Momoka enables hundreds times throughputs compared with Lens on Polygon, because it saves all the data off-chain. When you post, instead of sending the post on the blockchain, the post goes to the external storage (Arweave). A social media generates a large amount of data everyday, and it's too big to fit onto any blockchain. Decentralized storage protocols are built to solve the exact problem. However, that brings another problem. The blockchain no longer has a full view of all the posts, because some of the posts only live on Momoka.
