I think quests / odysseys / gamification is a great way to onboard people :-).
my approach to bring more visibility to zk (validity) / optimistic - in general L2 - rollups is https://lenster.xyz/posts/0x0f85-0x1312 . Unfortunately I'm still waiting for a lens handle to start the club :-).
actually I think users don't need to learn anything (new - assuming they are familiar with Ethereum). Users should use L2+s and have a great UX. If L2+s cannot provide a better UX than L1s they are not mature enough or the concept failed. (imo) One exception might be account abstraction actually. Unlearn "not your keys not your whatever" = remember the private key or seed phrase.
I did some of the https://layer3.xyz/collections/intro-to-zksync-era quizzes and I think layer 3 is an interesting platform. I like the UI and I had no major technical issues using it. Imo it's optimised to follow a topic end to end, I tried to escape and do some quizzes and skip others - or steps of quizzes and that seems to be a bit challenging. Maybe I missed sth. e.g. I couldn't find a search feature. It would be awesome if layer3.xyz allows to personalise the profile. E.g. I'd like to see all Ethereum L2 related quizzes. Or all zk related quizzes. And would like to get an email/notification if a new quizz checking the boxes is available. 🤍 the gm streak :-) What's your opinion as layer3.xyz heavy user :-) ?
