How did you get into crypto?
I've noticed that the question that brought us here was not posted as a topic on Kaira: '**How did you get into crypto?**' 🤔

- A friend of mine was trading generative art nfts back in 2021 and I learned about crypto from him :)
- I was looking for data sources for a machine learning / data engineering project to play around with 2020 :-).
I started experimenting with trading bots, onchain analysis, … and somehow I came across web3 and use cases for blockchain tech, eventually.
Scaling solutions, account abstraction, NFTs (gaming, loyalty programs, digital fashion, real estate, …), … , social graph / media ;-), identity.
Finally it might make sense :-)

- I overheard young coworkers talking about Bitcoin back in 2016, and away I went, still here.
- friends mostly, then I started to earn some eth, then I started to spend my money in so many different coins😂
- I met with the Steemit platform in 2017 and since then I have been in crypto. Bitcoin was $1350 when I joined to crypto ecosystem :) What about you @chriscomrie.lens?
- 2017,I read somewhere that a ransomware attack happened, demanding Bitcoin in return.got curious to know what is that thing that interests these ransomware attackers, and got into it 😊.btc was hovering around 2500$ or so,that time 😊
- During the time I was unable to leave the house because of the pandemic, I saw a news about a music festival in Decentraland and as I have always been interested in music and recently I had produced a festival in my city, I was in the mood.. .then one thing leads to another :)
- Mining! I was doing graphic design and discover that I could use my GPUs in different way 😆
- I've been in crypto since 2019 thanks to my best friend 😁 I like this 🚀

- Thanks to my best friend. I asked him how can I make double my savings and he said crypto (I know it's so risky lol). I did three times more, and I'm still in this ecosystem 😅
