Any idea how to make your 1.5x or 2x voice sound better? is the key to talk slowly on 1x speed?

Don't talk slowly in 1x, talk fast like 1.5x and 2x while talking in 1x. That will sound better than replying at 1.5x and 2x.
I think can try to talk slowly on 1x speed
Can not control how slow you need to control the speed. Just try to use some professional app to fix your voice

The best example is that when you go from 25mph to 50 mph it seems fast, but when you go from 80mph to 50 mph it seems slow. This is due to the accommodation process for processing in your brain.

The trick is to train yourself to that speed, our brains can keep up with faster, so the trick is to start on 3x speed and isolate your listening to that for 2 minutes then rewind and go from 2x to 1.5x speed.
