One thing we must admit is that Ethereum has stronger security and stability, and the consensus within the community is stronger. If you are ready to do the issuance of NFT, the first thing to consider is not whether the chain can guarantee enough security of NFT assets, but whether it is convenient for the community to access and pay less loss to get better quality assets. The blockchain will not stop, and quality projects will always shine brightly. Is it just because we think ETH will reach... No, because the big investors are in ETH and in theory it also gives more status to your collection, compared to an L2. Is it just because some have... Yes! This will cost you $5... It depends on what you imagine and want for your collection... but I imagine this fee is easily paid with just one sale... Is OpenSea safer... Definitely not. The royalty issue should be in the NFT smart contract and not just on the "frontend" of a marketplace... but I don't know how that actually works. 🙂
It's never been a bad time to drop work on #Polygon. The water feels fine and we are welcome to have your contribution to the space. People didn't start on Polygon and choose to migrate to Eth. It's just legacy incumbents who have yet to really wander much of anywhere beyond Eth. That's their prerogative and they will either remain the anchoring community over there or eventually get curious enough to explore what we are up to. Personally, I would not have been able to explore and experiment as much with #NFTs if it hadn't been for Polygon. This is my home and I welcome you to explore it fully fren. Open sea is fine but you are literally on Lens right now...so....wen collect drop? I'm looking forward to grabbing a copy.
