Many of you have a cold wallet with your crypto in it. But if you die tomorrow, nobody can access it.
However, guardmy.fund is able to prepare the inherit

- The best part is that Guard also protects your wallet against loss.
You only have to do the process once, and it protects your wallet from loss and inheritance.
The loss process is the same as the death process: just tell your guardian that you lost access to your wallet, then they need to input your new wallet address and the other guardians need to confirm it.
Then, you'll need to wait 90 days, and then the smart contract will transfer your fund from the old wallet to the new one.
Boom, you just recovered from months of work.
Everything is on-chain, even if the Guard team disappears, you can still access the contract and have access to your inheritance.
All the logic is stored in a smart contract and is fully visible, the withdraw function is only accessible to your inheritors.
Everything is customizable, you can change the number of guardians or inheritors, the minimum % before a consensus is reached, the number of days before the withdrawal is allowed, and you can even change your initial distribution.
I know some of you didn't think about crypto inheritance, and it's not obvious to think about it, but once you finish the process, you know you did something useful for your wallet and that it's protected.
The real value of this project is that even if you don't know anybody who is into Defi, you'll be able to set up your Guard thanks to @magic_labs which allows web2 users to use it.
This way, even your relatives can be guardians or inheritors.
Guard is currently in incentivized testnet, if you want to know more about the project, you can check their website: guardmy.fund and join the Crew3 to get some juicy rewards.
