Basically, it’s a perpetual funding mechanism to support development of the lens ecosystem. Nouns DAO was the originator, auctioning off 1 unique Noun every day for as long as ethereum network exists. The winning bid is donated to the treasury, the winning bidder is added to the DAO, and can vote on proposals to determine how to spend the treasury. They were so successful they expanded the infrastructure to help bootstrap other fledgling DAOs. Other than that, we’d need a name 😊
