(this comment comes after the comment below) And bonus: you could borrow someone's social graph - like I could borrow Elon's social graph and would get the recommendations he would get on all front-ends. Like you would see his feed on Lenster, you would see his video recommendations on Lenstube, you would get his network/talent recommendations on Orb.
e.g., TripAdvisor today gives everyone roughly the same recommendations because it does not have access to your Facebook. Leveraging my Lens social graph could give much more personal recommendations. You can basically then turn many Web2 recommendation-based services into different front-ends on Lens. Couple of examples below.
