I think Companies get it all wrong. They'll be shooting in the dark designing products no one wants or needs. Web3 has to be built by the people for the people. Not some "curated" list.. One of the first use cases is to shorten distance between musicians and their fans.. The platform should be there to facilitate features like those. Not to impose the rules of the game and expect ppl will adopt it and love it..
Everyone is trying to get into the new era of content delivery. They start to understand this will be adopted.
wtf
I honestly like it. I've never seen a compensation system for Playlist curation. Living with a man that has more than 500 Spotify Playlists I see the usecase clearly 🤣. The closed access is probably a test phase, like Lens. It will be aewsome to see Spotify working on UX solutions for token gating.
The giants are beginning to understand
Something is cooking 🍳🔪
It's an important milestone for mass adoption in the Music industry. Let them bring users so we can make Vampire attack as Web3 native decentralized platforms 😁
i like music too

cool
nice
I think it makes sense for a company like spotify to tread carefully and ease into it. I'd probably wanna focus on curating the first set of users before opening it up wide. Overall i think it's a variation of gatekeeping content which can be successful, but it's probably just gonna be an extra perk for most communities, not a driving force behind token adoption. Spotify has been historically very cagey about their data and artists have no way of interacting with those audiences, so while i'm optimistic, i'm still waiting to see how it plays out.
its big
