My thoughts when reading this are.. is it necessary @gotenks.lens? Does this help build your brand on lens? Are positives vs negatives weighed before decid

I think he doesn’t care. I believe there’s a bunch of guys on Lens who cannot stand a woman pointing out their controversial ideas. I’m the kind of person who speaks my mind, who says out loud if I think ideas are unethical etc … they will also talk about “free speech” and use this as an excuse to expressing their opinions even wen they’re 100% unethical. BUT “free speech” seems to only apply to them and not to a girly like me because wen I open my mouth I get punished publicly 🤡 And this is part of my “punishment” lol
The beauty of decentralised social is that no one can be silenced here forcefully. Yes, a lot of posts and comments on lens are in poor taste or hateful, sexualised or discriminatory - by our individual standards. We are free to either ridicule such posts/comments or completely ignore them. Some ppl will see the funny side you don't see and that's fine. Some will get it completely wrong and make stupid remarks and that's fine too! Decentralised social don't have guardrails, if you put your hand out of this fast moving train sometimes you'll get hit and sometimes you'll get flowers, depending on the gesture you're making with your hands of course. Taken out of context, I find @gotenks.lens 's comment unnecessary and disrespectful. However, in the context of the original post which the comment relates to, I do see the joke, even though I still find it unnecessary and in poor taste. But this was not the first back and forth between these two and don't think it won't be the last.
