I ๐ค quadratic funding. I guess it will help to a) incentivise people contributing valuable content and b) motivate people to vote with small amounts for valuable content. I am not sure if quadratic funding should be integrated in @lensprotocol or a dedicated app. I tend to integration (including a feed filter to see only qf posts). Iโd ๐ค to start a first tiny โthis week on lensโ qf round for everyone commenting highlights soon. I guess it will take a few iterations but I hope eventually โenoughโ people will join qf rounds.
Personally, I still need more education on the benefits to QF in general. I definitely loved how open it was, but do think it needs a larger voting pool to be more effective (obv hard in beta tho lol.) Iโll think up more thoughts eventually. Appreciate the free coffee (jk Iโm never selling).
It was pretty awesome. ๐๐ผโจ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
I also think having cubic and linear functions of distribution would be cool to see. Maybe also a receipt nft for donors :). Definitely a cool experiment learned a good deal about QF.
Sadly I missed the point, I tried it out but it was just Lens. I didn't see anything denoting who was trying to get grant funding. Sorry ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ
It was a good first run, but I didn't receive a payout lol
maybe I can use it to create a collaborative project ๐ค
Need to go beyond quadratic funding. To a dynamic subscription 4d Quantum Model Where your vote is counted every second but only if you look you know which way was voted
its a beautiful thing
Great start. Possible improvements: - Composability or direct integration on protocol level - More analytics (who donated, how much, etc.) - Improved tipping UI What are the future plans @owocki.lens?
Want to read up more on it.
It's a great idea. Although I think tipping is not the final goal to sustain on a social medium
