I met someone 5 years ago at an underground dance party in Tokyo who was already heading a team that created a virtual influencer raking in 1m/year from brand endorsements. They have since expanded to 2 (one girl + one boy) but I imagine it becoming more competitive now with the accessibility turned up faster than photography 🤷‍♂️
