The X (Twitter) Community Notes is exactly that - a sophisticated statistical algorithm that decides which challenges, as you name them, should be displayed, based on human votes that were fed to its logical model. Incorporating all that into existing structure of comments, likes and hashtags might look tempting, but I think it is just too important and thus needs a proper dedicated approach. Besides, the best part about Community Notes model is that it's robust and hard to game, at least when compared to simple count of likes on a comment with a hashtag. Regarding changing post or profile visibility/reach based on any kind of community input - that's a hard no IMHO. It's a slippery slope to censorship. Then Lens would be no different from any other social app.
