Thank you for saying what you said. I want to share some sentences with you. I also used to think it was about inner fulfilment, I have achieved that state, it is not difficult at all. Once it is achieved, the emptiness remains. There are common lies: "It's important to be happy". - This is not true. We are not made for happiness. Life is a series of different sufferings, happy moments happen. The older we get, the more we understand this. "It's important to grow" - in my opinion you have to stop, growth leads to constant self-correction. "You are enough" - this is not true either, as you write, we need other people and community, otherwise we will struggle to live each day. The most important lesson I learned in my many years of external and internal journeys is: "If God does not build the house, the labourer labours in vain".
