I really don’t hate the guy. He’s very Jobsian, especially with software. Often wrong, like really really wrong, but makes decisions quickly and eventually ends up in the right place. I just like that all of us here are well aware of the tradeoffs between private and public databases, so watching normies freak out and have this become a very tangible moment is validating…and quite entertaining.
