It is sad. It is unfortunate. However, I'm there has to be some personal responsibility here. Placing one's entire nest egg into a single protocol is terribly dangerous. Believe it is unlikely that we'll see less paternalism as a result of web3 and crypto. When people get hurt, they want someone else to fix it. I don't think we'll see less of that.
