“the handle is a property of X”
Comments
- Well, someone could send the "X" handle from Lens to Hwang... 😁
- "a selection of X merchandise" you have got to be kidding me
- Amazing stuff - A tour to X HQ. I don't believe that there wasn't any financial compensation. And yes, the way the called it a property means that every user in twitter is just X's property
- I mean technically this could happen on Lens as well right?
- That being the case, anything stored on their private servers could potentially be claimed as ‘property of x’ including user data, publications, uploaded media files, intellectual property shared on posts, comments or DMs, etc. It’s their server - it seems they are willing (and able) to swoop in and claim any data it hosts as their own.
I’m really not that surprised. Look what FB did with Cambridge Analytica. These guys just take whatever they want.
- 😐
- Idk if we can really bash on this until Lens is decentralized.
- Loving #Lens
- Not your @, not your profile
- Motherfuckers
Period.
- F
- X or !?
- X and meta
- L twitter
W lens
- smh
- but.... it is
- thats theft
- It looks like some kind of tyranny to me
- Amazing stuff
- fake account with same username
- all his wealth
- Elon must’ve been sick of asking wen marketing in lens discord.
- 😊😊😖
- This is why WEB3 and the decentralized world matter
- Everyone is very doubtful.
- This shows the importance of web3 social. Apart from the fact that web2 isn't decentralized , Elon Musk didn't act professionally. There should be monetary and other compensation
