the idea is to replace the bridge overhead with social trust. eg you’d like to mint the @lenster.lens NFT goes Hey on zora. But you’ve never used zora before -> you need funds on zora. Bridging eth with orbiter and especially from mainnet will be approx as expensive as minting the nft itself. Instead you could ask one of your #lensfrens who already has eth on zora if the #lensfren can send you 0.005 ETH on zora and you’ll send 0.005 ETH on eg optimism. The transaction cost for 2 erc20 transfer/send transactions is a fraction of the bridging cost.
