how long does it usually take from the post until the notes appear? I’m asking because the average visibility of post with decent interaction is 24 hours

That's a good point. It would depend on how fast contributors react. It's a community effort. Somebody must write a note, then there must be enough votes to reach the "show" threshold. With enough activity and participation, I think its's realistic to have a community note up within 24h, at least for more viral posts. Then, you can experiment with notifying users who interacted with the note that it was community noted. This is not implemented on Twitter yet, we could be first 😏.
