Yeah that's actually the entire point. How I interpret the metrics can be totally different than how you perceive them. Someone who has only recently found my work might think most of these collectors are collecting my writing, when in fact most of these collects are free photos of coffee with a GM 🙃 It's up to both users and apps to determine how they wish to see the data. Most users won't care and they'll simply follow whatever the app shows, which is fine. But just like web3 people understand how powerful the option to own your data is, equally important is the option to choose and interpret your own metrics around that data. An artist might aim for a few high-paid Collects, or they might aim for wide distribution via low cost/free collects. Cultural relevance and value can be accrued using either strategy. My goal is to have my data used, I want Users. I want people using my data to create new data. So the first step towards that is getting people to Collect my data.
