rn I think the collect/NFT metadata should be compatible with the major market places. The title of on lens collected NFTs is a great example mentioned by

- Regarding metadata globally in nfts (music, art, etc), what I would like to see is licencing: what rights the artist are giving you? Would you be able to modify? share-alike? commercial use? Nothing?
- Adding metadata like NFT name, description, and properties is possible with the current contract, but the frontends aren’t currently optimized for this so it has to be done from the smart contract. What is not possible rn, afaik, is changing the “collection name”
However, since each post is part of its own “unique” collection, the properties will always say 100% because there is only 1 in the collection. Imo, being able to post to a custom collection and then add posts to that collection would be huge for lots of different uses. Obviously 10k collections could build piece by piece, but imagine an author posting one chapter on their book at a time, or content creator posting to specific “topic” collections 🤯

Would love to brainstorm this more.
- @focalize.lens allows you to edit the metadata shown on Open Sea and other marketplaces. You can customize the title, so it doesn’t say “Post by x” and change the description to be something different than a copy of the Lens post content.
