agree, it's fascinating.
Would you mind sharing what you are testing?
What's your take on multi protocol apps? Like we saw in the early days with messa

- Any other apps you are checking out currently which are worth a look @punkess.lens? 👀
- Yes - @buttrfly.lens and @lenstaxyz.lens 🦋
Got pleasantly surprised by one feature in particular: the 'mute' option on Buttrfly. The feature you didn't know you needed.
Timelines on Lenster/Orb can get really cluttered as it mainly shows the accounts that just post the most, not necessarily the best content. This gets even further exacerbated with showing comments and reactions of profiles without any context around it. Can get really messy.
The mute option is a refreshing breeze, gives you a whole new timeline, while still be able to interact with those accounts through other front-ends (way less definitive than unfollowing).
It will be especially interesting to see how you can play around with a mix of options to get to your perfect timeline. A bit like figuring out your perfect coffee (type of beans, grind size, extraction time, pressure, temperate). ☕️
Think multi-protocol clients play perfectly into this thesis and that they will be important for users. As it prevents from being locked into an ecosystem (same like you are now locked into apps (or ecosystems) in Web2). Will be interesting to see how this evolves over the coming year. Think many will follow in @0xmoe.lens footsteps. Grow on one protocol, move fast, and refine and integrate down the line.
- The original original idea for @buttrfly.lens was that it would be a multi protocol client for lens, farcaster, and Twitter.
But building multi protocol support is a huge undertaking and increases the complexity of your app significantly which will slow down the rate of iteration. So I decided to just focus on lens for now and move fast.
Maybe some time in the future 🤔
