You can abstract but the issue is that is it fine to do it so that the users don't know whats the underlying security of the network they are using. I think Vitalik was talking about this topic recently. Agree also for the yield opportunity differences and on UX I've been thinking that it could be solved with showing users ranges of the spot yields and not the exact.
