I’m only 17 and not even an adult yet, but I’ve noticed that as people get older, fewer of them step out of their comfort zones to join new communities.

Hi Mark, I agree that change is tough at any age, and it feels even scarier as we get older. We tend to stick to what we know and seek peace for as long as possible. Family and job responsibilities are big reasons too. However, if you keep adapting and trying new things, it might not feel so daunting. For example, I've switched careers three times in 14 years, always adapting, but I also take time to enjoy where I am now instead of always chasing the next thing. I believe it's important to find a balance and be comfortable with change. In my coaching, I work with men to improve their personal lives, and I see that change is tough for most.
