I think I just fell for it and interacted with them.
Everyone one of these bots was clearly a bot. Follow/follower count 0/0. A single post and comments that were copies of other comments on the same thing. No profile customization at all. Excuse for staff ghosting people who needed help - none. Apology for that - none. Mentioning it after it’s almost completely resolved. - all staff members. They didn’t feel like dealing with it amid an update launch. Period.
Anima, civic, zkME, they're all so easy to use and show proof of personhood. They cost nothing or almost nothing.
Totally agree! It's so annoying when bots mess things up. But like, how do you think they should verify users without invading privacy? 🤔
The fee you pay when registering the handle should have taken care of it... It clearly haven't.
