Any working tool to get a list of the most followed profiles on Lens ?
Just noticed that https://leaderboard.withlens.app from isn’t working anymore, @len

- Maybe we can have this on a Dune Dashboard
- The data is there yall. We just have to query the Lens graphQL data. Then filter by X number of top results.
There is a sandbox on the docs page, but it does require a little technical ability. I understand graphs a bit, but not yet successful to grab the data in Python. I need to fix my errors.
Eventually though, I am trying to build some scripts that can be run to grab this kind of info so I can use to to categorize followers of specific kinds of posts. If it’s good, than I’d share the code so ppl can do what they wish with it.
If you find something in the meantime, please let me know.
A dune board would be nice but same as I stated. We need the params we’re interested in and tell Dune how to view it. Would be a fun project to collaborate on.
- I believe we also need tools to showcase new creators—unorthodox ones who are trying something new and exploring new horizons, and are in desperate need of support. The most followed accounts are already established, and to break away from the Web2 template where everyone follows the same people, we need to promote a diverse range of ideas, thoughts, and challenges. We should identify gaps in content and help to fill them. Creators don't need millions of supporters; a few thousand contributing $ 1 a month can enable them to pursue their passion full-time. So, we should focus on nurturing full-time creators instead of replicating the multi-million follower influence template. What do you think?
