Lol everyday I pay 9.25% fee/tax on every purchase using a currency (USD) that technically isn't mine and described legally as "liabilities of the Reserve Banks and obligations of the United States." So 2% is a lot but over 9% is my norm and it's consistent. I've seen days where ETH gas fees were so high that any transaction would be considered a loss. When a $5 NFT costs $75, so the seller earns $4.50, the buyer pays 10x the value all while knowing his new purchase will never resell or achieve the same value equal to what he paid in gas fees. So 2% would be the max but ideally 0.0001% would be great.
