Comment by @stani • Hey
my worry is the inconsistency if all profiles have different cooldown periods

- Here's a short version 👀.
OK, let's simplify it more while keeping enough user control:
➡️ Cooldown options: 7 days, 1 day.
➡️ Default: we could consult users. If the majority wants flexibility - 1 day, security - 7 days. This will minimize friction, as the least settings edits will de needed in total. Poll time 😉.
Should there be an option to opt-out completely? 1 day seems short enough to leave it as a minimum, but a closer look might be warranted, just to make sure.
What do you think @stani.lens ?
- Fair point. I would look at it this way. Simplicity, security and flexibility (to transact) must be balanced. For the protocol itself, simplicity and security are probably the most desirable (please correct me if needed), while each user might have their own preferences.
Maxing user control ensures their value will also be maxed, while some simplicity will be sacked for it. The current proposal does exactly that. Before thinking about how much complexity can we afford, let's try to simplify the solution more while keeping enough user control. What about this:
➡️ Cooldown options: 7 days, 1 day.
➡️ Default: assuming 1 day is good enough as a baseline, we could consult users. If the majority wants flexibility - 1 day, security - 7 days. This will minimize friction, as the least settings edits will de needed in total. Poll time 😉.

What do you think?
- I think that have two NFTs : profile and handle will make complicated for user
It not easy to using now : one NFT, one handle and just login and enjoy..
And one important trouble : you should talk with Opensea about if handle can't transfer, it will not listed on Opensea
Some people take advantage of security holes to lower the price of Lens handle, making the project less attractive in terms of value for users.
