Comment by @stani • Hey
would be interesting in the retention rates, the bigger userbase gives faster access to 10 milly but retention is a number that tells a lot

Of course. Google + mention before have huge number of users but no one realy use this social media.
And I've read some articles on Threads telling that if you want to delete your account from Threads you need to delete also your Instagram account. Looks like a trick from Meta to keep retention artificially 😆 https://www.numerama.com/tech/1439244-vous-voulez-supprimer-votre-compte-threads-dites-adieu-a-instagram.html https://twitter.com/emilyhughes/status/1676775597735923719

Yeah, I've mentally tapped out already. With brands and influencers turning their cringe worthy content tricks - it's dad jokes mixed with aggressive I WANT 100K followers RIGHT AWAY competitive attitude is just throwing me off. Worst of all, the followers are SO MIXED - I mean I DO NOT WANT to mix my IRL frens with my Web3 frens. It was working so well uptil now - Twitter/Lens for my REAL degen personality, IG for guilty pleasure and stupid cat videos and celebrity divorces. Threads feed and followers are SO RANDOM.
Feels like Threads is a more of a cross-sell for the already huge base of IG users, and not a fresh set of users — interesting to see what's the M1 retention rate
true , there are many projects like threads which got instant popularity and dead at the end (truthi social, signal etc)
True that
True. Smart
