- Most likely not due to other expenses but got to lock in a set amount for rent, if there’s a possibility to keep rent the same, a 5 year lease, because prices keep going up in other areas of life. If you’re able to stabilize expenses & have a nest egg building, I say rent. Or own a duplex or fourplex to have them pay for mortgage. Any property will go up in value. The idea of ownership is an investment, if not it becomes money for repairs, etc. look ahead and assess what’s the future gonna be like for you. AND Name of baby and pics please!!
- I think it's something to consider, not for the investment, but for some kind of life security. But certainly if someone has the objective of shaping a place, especially in relation to nature, it doesn't matter if it's a garden or a small forest, it's something interesting to do, because this type of action takes decades :)
- Sold mine in Portugal 4 years ago.
Then was thinking about buying in the UK but moved to Prague.
Still think that in the UK is a good investment, compared to the other countries I’ve lived in.
- It's a matter of your work / life conditions. If you are not changing your work place frequently and especially if you settled down with a wife and kids, I don't see a point in wasting money for rent.
