I think its a valid point for personal profiles but what about if you grew a brand or a company account? also what if you want to transfer to a new address

Yeah. I agree that total ban of selling and transferring profiles would not make sense and run against web3 principles. Probably rather some human verification that would show immediately if a profile does not belong to its original owner anymore. My general worry is that Lens users could become very profit driven once lens goes big and big profiles would become very valuable, which is not the case now and that’s what I like a lot here.
