Own network yes, own rollup (not a layer 2 in my opinion). Why? Because lens is going to have to compete with other layer 2s for blob space and I…

Yes for sure Lens is spiking gas for Polygon developers since a few months, building there will be easier if Lens is on it's own rollup.

Vote for a rollup, not an own network. We definitely have to move (up) from Polygon, it doesn't bear the load even during the beta stage of Lens. Having an own…

My opinion is, I would say yes for multiple reasons, like the cost by action will be reduced, easy to scale to get more users, no trouble in transferring messages…

Only if it’s EVM compatible imo. Otherwise we’ll lose half of what makes Lens special 🌱

I generally like the idea of app chains. A chain designed for Aave and Lens could benefit in many ways. For example building it on top of OP stack or…

Strong no for me. The advantage and network effects of composability with other popular protocols, services, and wallets on the popular rollups will far outweigh the benefit of your own…

Vote for rollup, in one form or another. Better to support/align with the broader crypto community than create a new wheel - even if that would have been a better…

Why not zkevm polygon? If it has account abstraction it could enroll many more users improving the UX

How big can it scale in both options? IMO if it's not able to scale 1B+, we NGMI. The trade-off here is scalability vs. interoperability. Devs need to address some interesting problems.

In the long run it would be beneficial to have lens and save on its own network

do you mean something like polygon supernets so basically a lens customized chain on top of polygon or you have in mind building something from scratch ?!

Maybe, It's not the right way that Lens builds own network or rollup. Reason 1: interoperability. Reason 2: censorship resistance.
