So I think I may be warming up to @lens/worldcoin. Proof of humanity is really interesting. Has anyone done a pro and con deep dive?

I don't like it, it's a huge privacy risk. There are more interesting ways to prove humanity, personally I like Gitcoin Passport and Klero's Proof of Humanity. We also have Civic and onchain activity projects like Phi.
I wanted to create my worldcoin id, but they are not available in Serbia, both Orb and the phone app 🙁
what i want to know is if i can use others eyes to create the hash its called prove of humanity but we as humans are very good breaking proves and protocols, we have the hack mentality installed by default
Yeah agree it’s a privacy risk and weird re iris scans. Proof of Humanity team split in 2 forks last year so a bit unsure of progress on that too- humanity.earth is the other side. There a better and deeper DID systems being built atm …
The one thing I don’t get is. Why do you have to have a proprietary device to scan your iris instead of using the thing anyone of us has in their pockets to prove your identity? Maybe someone enlighten me 🫣
honestly don t like the concept of iris scanner!! possibility of using it against us chances are high!! may be not now but in the future u never know!!
