Post by @0xtomi • Hey
Just went thru the ”Most Phaved” filter in the feed, and was surprised: found zero junkio content. Mainly baller stuff.
Think killing all bots and also r
Comments
- Further thought 1: currently most Phaved is filter #6 in the carousel. Should move forward or not?
Btw we are going to have also “Creator Tag Only” filter coming in soon - which only includes then the folks who are really pushing it hard for content creation on Phaver <> Lens/Farcaster
- Further thought 2: think we should build logic soon (at least in the main spoon fed-feed) the logic where a post is only shown once (e.g. recommended), now it still shuffles the same cards back.
This is not the easiest logic. Think Farcaster still cooking the that logic (magic) too based on Varun’s latest post.
- Thanks all for contributing tons of insightful and thoughtful comments! 🫡We are reviewing all with team too 🙌 but will respond also separately to each comment. 🤝

My feed has definitely gotten better in The last few months: fewer spam/scam posts and more quality content. It is very heavily curated by what the Phaver team mirrors though. If someone posts something that is picked up by a team member, they hit the jackpot. The disadvantage to this is that 95% of my feed is posts that promote Phaver (which is great, but would be nice to see some more diversity...)
I would love to see some more "discovery" tools that allow me to search categories of content. Going through the "communities" doesn't necessarily show me the best stuff, just the most recent, which gets drowned out super quickly (and will only be worse as more users join and hundreds of people are posting per minute in any given community).
I have some ideas to make discovery more diverse (and fair for new/smaller users). For example a "recently joined" filter, so you can browse new users and maybe find some great new content that just isn't getting visibility. You can mirror a new users, and get more points for helping them increase their visibility.
Anyway, I think you guys are doing an amazing job, and you're actively asking users for feedback and listening to it. Thanks for listening!
- After seeing your post, I took a closer look at this category. Completely agree with you. Phaverians truly value high-quality content and reward its creators.
And yes, I'd like this category to be moved a bit forward, maybe before "super posts" or so to highlight quality content that some users might miss.
- Yeah, a super mirror for high levels would be super cool 😎
Some additional thoughts:
1) you can't super mirror your own content.
2) limits, like 1 super mirror per day? 2 for level 5?
3) you can only super mirror accounts with fewer than 1000 followers (so big accounts don't just super mirror each other)
Perhaps a super mirror could still earn phaves past the initial 24 hour period?
I find it a bummer when I stumble upon an older post with great content but I know that having/mirroring it won't earn the user more points.
Anyway just brainstorming! As we see new users on Phaver, I want to make sure we don't keep the power solely in the hands of people who were here early, otherwise new users won't engage.
- 👑💫
- Content creators tag that's sexy 😘
Sure a win for people pushing more....
Meme guys would take over definitely
- Sounds good 👍🏼
- Good one
- Great
- Great progress
- Sounds great
- I would like to start getting clear rules how to get any kind of badges, just like „verified“. With regard to the presale investor through SwissBorg, everyone participated should be „verified“ as well. Because without KYC you couln‘t invest into Phaver deal.
Regarding the „Most phaved“ I can‘t fully agree to your meaning. I see mostly posts I don‘t really care or at least always the same people talking the same blabla I don‘t folleo or care about their content. But they are farming tons of points and also swept the floor for Level-Up Phaver NFT by betting very high amounts of points, which makes it very unfair to all other users. So I would readjust the mechanism how to get points or cap it to a maximum amount per day.
The idea to keep the bots away I like. Make a kind of KYC in any kind (e.g. my first thought), instead of the anima NFT. I have it, but I don‘t like to repeat myself every 30 days. It‘s also very buggy and I need to to it multiple times to „regain“ this NFT. And who is giving me a guarantee, my data aren‘t abused or spread everywehere? Filtering I would even go further, it must start at level 1. only real people on a real social network.
My two BORG here ✌️ happy weekend
- Making level two easy is a great one, users love achievements.
I like your point about making a post appear less often.
There are a lot of creators that needs to be seen
- Totally agree with you Tomi.
Quick notes 📝
1. Points farming still exists, so called large follower base accounts who create less quality posts in reality, ripping off total/almost every cuts out of daily reward pools. This has to be curbed somehow.
2. Phaver has been well known in endorsing reality/credibility, fighting against bots and multiple accounts. It's appalling seeing 👀 2 accounts controlled by a single entity, purely for daily Points farming, 10+ contents daily with little or no use case to the concept of Phaver/Web3 social. Yet got verified by Phaver team in a twinkle of an eye, While some OGs with low follower bases tries hard to create unique contents daily, finding it hard to get appreciated. It's scuff!
3. Maybe we can have supper post mirroring limited to L4 & L5 users only, seeing many spamming lately 👀
4. Let's have Creators/Contributors & Team/Organisations Tabs also. If possible from there they'll get more visibilites and random users would get to know more about them. Instead of daily blind FOMOs on prospective "Most Phaved post"
For now that's all I remember, I hope you'll find this helpful, not so much time to curate feedbacks like this, but somehow I'm interested in your observation..... LFG 🦄🆙️
- Hello Tomi.I think that popular or recommended posts should be more inclined to level 5 and super posts, and then randomly pushed according to the number of likes instead of just those KOLS. This will be more interesting and stimulate everyone's desire to post high-quality posts!
- Hey boss. In the search bar, I believe that instead of a list of names, there should be the most likes, the most trending, the most mirrored POSTs.
- Alot of functions doesn't seem right
Like the trending list of profiles when you click the search button aren't supposed to be trending.... Some useless profile that are not active are even trending, and that is not supposed to be that way... I think you need to reset the structure
- Amazing stuff
- Thanks, all good brainstorming
- I'm patiently waiting for when this will happen to start pushing my contents
