- I read it, I think it's great read for anyone and everyone interested, or skeptical, or building, etc. in this space. Having worked in this space for a while now, I already believe that we're all building something great! For me it was mostly motivating and helps give me perspective on how what I'm working on fits in "web3". Also gives a lot of nice definitions and analogies I can use to communicate with others.
- Highly recommend to read it. Overall I would agree a lot on the vision Chris expands in the book and especially when he explains social networks, it feels like he is subwriting about Lens lol. Especially on the ownership part. Some folks are sceptical if blockchain networks can make it so far, but for me it feels more natural evolvement, especially after seeing what blockchain networks can do in the context of finance with DeFi.
- i want someone to read it for me
- I'm currently reading it. I believe it's good for beginners to understand the issues with Web2 and the potential of Web3. It's also a good refresher for those who have been involved with Web3 for a while and may have lost sight of their initial motivations. Beyond that, I haven't come across anything particularly groundbreaking so far.
- A friend of mine suggested it a few days back. Is it a good read?
- Will give it a read on the weekend.
- I’ve seen the extended interview with @lens/bankless and followed it up with several other interview of Chris with other pod hosts. So have a good idea of the content. Definitely recommended. It’s on my reading list too and maybe I’ll get my Kids to read it as well
- Nope never heard off
