the benefit is that everyone has a true voice! a decentralized network should not be able to take your audience from you, neither deny access to broadcasting. It should also give users choice what to consume. Challenge in practice is that people care about decentralization when things go wrong, so besides early adopters its more challenging to sell the vision but we will get them by building new experiences :)
