Fake news. I know how to produce + record my own vocals. Any track that's competitive and actually charts/wins awards or has millions of streams goes through this process. And this is a low cost. Plus the amount of money spent on sound libraries, escapes, samples, etc also is high. Bedroom production sure, but majors nope. Depends a bit on genre but these are real costs and one of the reasons people's music doesn't actually catch on. Even wiz producer have someone else mix for them
