I’ve been quiet because I 100% see the value of Web3 but I will no longer stand for this kind of lack of care/ basic insight into “ how the business works” - as the saying goes you have to know the rules to break them. Copyright is an entire other beast. Unfortunately most people are used to a “free internet” where you can post what you want and not really aware this is a “blockchain.” I think without some sort of pre-screen before the post it will be hard to prevent but even then artists who are on labels will have issues like how many times have (I) / so many artists had their own music censored on socials because they technically don’t own them. The majors are going to be busy with AI for a while so this will probably be the last space to be checked. I think @lens/stephguerrero is/was working on something here but not sure what their findings solution looks like yet. Either way if we speak up and figure out a way to create a better more vibrant space for musicians think we can get somewhere but it’s going to be a process for real.
