I really like the T.P. system. Is the time spent reading the article actually measured? If I open an article and go to make myself a coffee, come back in 3

Haha cute and very important question! The short answer is, yes, if you go make a coffee and have the tab open for more than 1min, you do earn 1 t.p. (Right now it’s set as 1mins reading = 1 t.p, minimum 1min to count). And the maximum t.p earning is capped as the article’s estimated reading time. For example, you can maximum earn 5 t.p from a 5mins read. And the writer of the post will also earn some t.p from this readership of you. However, there can only be 1 active reading tab to count for Proof of Attention. Even if there are 10 tab opened. In POA V2, this will be more robust. We will combine mouse tracking with reading time tracking, and consider more meaningful interactions for us to earn t.p. We’ll also make t.p spendable to further foster quality and engagement. 2024 will be pretty exciting!
