I challenge that excuse to it’s very core. This year alone, communities have made meme tokens very relevant. Just because they aren’t paying ridiculous fees of L1, doesn’t mean they aren’t seriously valuable and look at $DEGEN moving quickly to its own chain!! That would be the meme coin ideal. Get away from the whining dicks who want crypto to function like a stock market. A token is not a stock share. It’s an intricate part of the full chain(s), and even a fairly small uptick can launch it into being relevant for all of the crypto space. $degen $bonsai have proven that we aren’t playing the same ball game anymore. The people who hate them, yet refuse to give the communities a chance are relics of the Ethereum 2015 era. When a community picks up a coin as their main token for exchange, they are choosing independence over fascism.
