- Yeah, agreed, although I’d say it’s not just a worse case of obvious censorship of communication and thoughts. I mean, that’s already the norm for the majority of humans today. Most people have to watch their words, thoughts, and expressions of belief careful not to blaspheme their local orthodoxy or risk a chilling effect at best. The danger I’m bringing up is the platform lock in we already see globally getting much worse, through “arbitrary and capricious” regulation through enforcement, established players locking the door to markets behind them, and the old guard continuing to shut down everything from right to repair to whether encryption, NFT, and p2p payment based communication networks are allowed in the app stores… as often as they can get away with
