Yes, 39% of all malware happens on Windows, only 6% on macOS; what is even more shocking to hear for most is that 54% occurred on Linux - but macOS is the most secure for sure out of the box
Performance wise Macs make me want to pull out my eyeballs kinda operate under the assumption any computer i use is cucked anyways.

Risky yes, but more user friendly and more used around the globe, especially from people who can't afford MacOS, and non technical plebs who can't use Linux 😄
It's risky, but not extremely. 8 years of using windows and no security but one. I believe many can say the same
